FIT Tip - Form over Weight 22. September 2015 Bryce Stanton 0 comments I see so many people loading up a machine or grabbing insanely heavy dumbbells for either vanity reasons or for whatever reason. START LIGHT AND STAY LIGHT-- Focus on correct form with any exercise for at least 8 weeks. When adding weight to an exercise, the first thing to go is form. When Form goes, you end up working the wrong muscle group which in turn can result in injury or teach your body improper mechanics; these are hard to correct once initiated. So start light, stay light until you have that form mastered!Stay tuned for my article on the importance of proper form.
